Labours campaign will have to be a whole lot better than 'it was great under Tony Blair'. That will be soundly rejected. It's probably the only strategy that they could adopt that would lose them the election at this point.

Right now, I think I will probably vote labour because the Tories have totally f***ked things up apart from getting us out of the EU clutches... but that was not really them, it was the people who voted and made them do it. Cameron only ever suggested a referendum because he thought it was a straightforward remain win.

But, if the Labour Party start gaslighting about how great it was with Tommy Blair as leader, then f**k them.

I'm not surprised after all the horrors labour forced onto the NZ people during Covid. Same principle for Australia. Canada has just gone extreme loony left and they will need to vote Trudeau out as he has made a mess of it.

And the other half of social media are saying it was failed Hamas rocket explosions: Because war is not always as it seems. This could have been a failed rocket launch by Hamas or bad intel provided to the IDF or Hamas could have been using the hospital as a front. Let’s wait for more verification tbf!!

Yes Labour's shot itself in the foot the vote showed that Jucinda Adern become probably one of the most hated leaders we had, great start to the covid response but almost lead us into communism which imo she would have enjoyed,

Nz politics is going into a very interesting phase.
Two of the elected opposition third parties Green's and Maori party want co-governance meaning setting up government authority purely for the Maori being on the Maori electoral role myself I can say categorically this is not what normal Maori want. It's the radical green and Maori activist running amuck, any such move is going to take NZ back 40 years in the process of treaty diplomacy.
The new government will possibly/ hopefully consist of a 3 party majority National centre right,Act far right but not extreme far right and NZ1st who are middle of the road and have had former coalitions with both left and right. Hopefully NZ 1st are in the mix to keep any far right shenanigans in check a hand break so to speak.
The country sits 2nd bottom of the oecd countries currently so we can only go upwards hopefully otherwise you will be sitting down to dinner watching adverts of feed the starving kiwis

Israel claims about the hospital strike being a Hamas f**k up look plausible. Rockets launched from nearby but according to Israel never hit them.

IDF shared intelligence with the US and Biden has come out saying the explosion came from "the other team".

I'm not gonna trust Israeli intelligence but there's absolutely zero shot US intelligence would stick its head out to defend a hospital bombing from Israel.

Also, I don't want to be cynical but now that it's daytime in Israel and we have pictures of the blast site, it looks a lot smaller than first described. Is there any source that's not from Gaza that confirms the cited 500 deaths number?

I don't understand where the 500 deaths are coming from unless the children, patients, and doctors were sleeping in the parking lot for some reason. There doesn't appear to be any structural damage to the actual hospital.

It seems like a lot of people who like jumping on breaking news got played and signal-boosted Hamas propaganda.
