What 13 year old who has his adrenaline pumping is going to think about putting their hands up step by step?

I just rewatched it, he didn't turn in an abnormally fast manner anyway and his hands were up as he did so.

The officer shit the bed.

Exactly.

Shoot first, think later, that is the problem.

Its not like this was some tattooed up muscle gangster.

Sorry but a bullet shot by a 13 yr old is the same as a bullet shot by a 'tattooed muscle gangster'.

Shoot first, think later in THAT situation is exactly right.
Officers don't have a second to think. They react to danger and a kid with a gun turning to face the officer with his hand hidden is a direct threat to the officers life.

The officer told him to stop and put his hands up.

The kid stopped put his hands up, was unarmed and was shot dead.

How does that equate to you?

Don't ask someone to do something then when they do it shoot them anyway.

Judge should have stopped the trial and declared a mistrial.
Politicians are out threatening violence if the jury does not convict.
Media are whipping things up.

That s not a fair trial, regardless of the cop involved.

Innocent until proven guilty in a court in front of his peers..a jury.

A politician threatening violence if a jury do not do what they are told is not acceptable in ANY trial.

I don't care about how any one feels about this officer, a pitchfork trial is not right.

The trial judge has said that Maxine Waters may have given Chauvin grounds for appeal of any verdict... Because of what she said.
Many other politicians and media people have already declared the verdict in the court of public opinion and have been stoking up trouble if it's not a guilty verdict.

Was never a fair trial.
I also don't believe Chauvin broke any law so the entire indictment was politically driven in the first place.

Accidental death is manslaughter which is one of his charges.

No possibility of a fair trial.
Jurors will be scared witless of the reaction to them if they do anything other than vote to convict.
