Wow the girl accusing the rape went off on one last night. Saying he got away with it as it wasn’t in this country and the law changed 10 days later or something on that. Also, he’s paid her 156k settlement which she’s basically forfeited and has to give back after telling everyone. Then probably gonna be fined around 200k which will finish her. She pretty much said the money isn’t important and I’d rather be sure he doesn’t do it again.

Meh, take it to court and not the court of public opinion.

Not sure you read it. She did. He got off with a technicality as it wasn’t until 10 days later you could prosecute for rape happening in another country. Still paid her off which she’s given up now as hasn’t kept quiet.

I read her Tweet and it said the law changed 10 days later where UK Police would have jurisdiction over crimes committed overseas. Does that mean the UK have had no power to investigate and work with overseas authorities to get a conviction all these years? Does that mean they took him in for questioning, asked where it happened and because it was overseas they dismissed her? Does that sound right? Has there been a recent law change now grant us jurisdiction for overseas crimes? Is it not possible to work with the European courts to get a conviction?

Probably an EU law in there somewhere…

Strange paying someone 156k when you’ve done nothing. Also strange to give that money back so you can speak about it. If she’s after money then she could of just ran already with the pay off.

I don't believe her. If it occurred in another country, why would you not tell that country's police?

Much easier to speak to the police in the same language when you go home the following morning.

I always feel cautious with these kind of claims and feel it’s about money etc. something doesn’t sit right here though, as with Mendy.

This is why I don't run with the court of public opinion. People run with the assumption and don't look this things up.

If Partey is guilty, she should go to the police overseas and get a conviction. The police in the UK have to work with the authorities overseas.

Your former guy, Robinho...convincted of rape in Italy and has a 9 year sentence for gang rape. I think he lives in Brazil but the Italian courts have demanded he be extradited after his appeal was dismissed.

If she's handed the money back and is determined to get justice, she'll go further than a few Tweets. If not her, then someone else that has accused him will.

Exactly, false accusations can ruin someones life. For example Cliff Richard now always walks with someone at Wimbledon because the back route he takes goes past the ballboys changing room and he doesn't hug fans any more even though he was never charged and the claims turned out to be false.

It just doesn't make sense that you wouldn't go to the local police immediately for something like that. If she were truly about justice, she wouldn't have taken any money in the first place.

The accusation is a scar for life and now that anyone and everyone has a platform, people can say whatever they want. It's dangerous territory.
