Do you mind? This is a highbrow theological debate.

Only Trina has the required privileges to create new subforums and haven't spoken to her for a while.

For now, I think we should go with one Euro 2020 Mega Thread. (Feel free to create one in the World Football subforum.)

Perhaps it's because on Arsenal threads most things relate to Arteta out and why he's been rubbish, or how fantastic he was because of the last seven games. I can't even be bothered to read them now.

Probably the best response I've seen to SJW's and Antifa ........... bit of a show stopper, end of story.

Summary
"You think white America should give African American's reparations because of white privilege? .......... ok sign up for it now then starting with you, hand it over"

German WWI veteran describes killing a French soldier in a bayonet charge

Soon after the Armistice of 11 November 1918, Westmann was discharged. Almost at once he volunteered to serve in the 8th Hussars, a force to be used in cases of civil disorder, and continued to serve in the Reichswehr until 1920, including a period in the Reichswehrbrigade 15.

After at last being demobbed, Westmann returned home and qualified as a physician in Berlin. There, he married Marianna Goldschmidt, one of Germany's first women doctors. He became Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Berlin. In the 1930s, he was an anti-Nazi, and in 1934 he migrated to Great Britain with his wife and children, establishing a medical practice on Harley Street.

In November 1939, shortly after the beginning of the Second World War, Westmann was formally registered as a refugee and exempted from internment. During the war, he was put in charge of an Emergency Hospital in Lanarkshire and became an Honorary Colonel in the Royal Army Medical Corps.

Westmann was interviewed for the USC Shoah Foundation as a Holocaust survivor. He died on 7 October 1964

I saw that a few weeks back. Absolutely awful.

Did you know that that Arnold Ridley who played Private Godfrey in Dad's Army was involved in a few bloody, hand to hand battles in WWI? He took a few bayonet and shrapnel wounds before eventually having to be sent home for good after his hand and arm were terribly wounded at The Somme. He was knocked to the ground by a German soldier and put his hand up to defend himself. The bayonet went into his hand and up his arm, exiting near his elbow. The German was bayoneted and killed by another British soldier before he could finish Ridley off.

Loads of stories like that from that war. Absolutely terrible for all of those men on both sides.
