A new bar just opened up in my city last week. It charges by the hour instead of by the drink. $10 per hour. Anyone have anything like this near them? Or have heard of anything like this? I feel like it's going to promote binge drinking, but I'm all in!

Anyone watch Grand Designs tonight? For once it’s a sad tale of someone who had almost everything anyone could ever wish for, but wanted more! (A lot more)

Worth watching on catch up to see it, even just for one of the most spectacular spots near Saunton Sands.

That will never catch on in the UK, we have the most greedy and high priced country outside of elite places like Monaco etc, we are truly ripped off its a sham.

Also how does that work for women, not trying to be sexist but fact is some women go out on cheap nights out looking for lads to buy them drinks, women on a budget aren't going to be wanting to be billed by the hour .......... they'll save that for later.

That's actually a good question. So I'd guess that bar won't be frequented by those type of women. We'll see how well it does, it's very gimmicky right now. What I don't like about it is that you have to book a reservation. So that takes the coolness out of it right away for me.

If that opened in the UK people would die.
