So why was emery out locked??

Because it was a reactionary thread started by a troll in order to wind people up and nothing worthwhile that was said in the thread could not be said in the main Emery thread.

We are not in th wenger era anymore, managers have been sacked far quicker than this and the likes of Chelsea often change managers every year or two. Why someone couldn’t genuinely want emery gone already is beyond me, if they didn’t really want him in the first place and see nothing positive then should be allowed their view.

Anyway seems the original emery thread will continue the discussion so it’s fine.

There's no sympathy or love for Emery as there was for Wenger - who most of us grew up seeing.

The Emery Out thread was knee-jerk, which is why it was locked. Still a bit premature, I'd say. I'm not optimistic but there's the EL and the FA Cup. If we win one of those, we'd still have had a successful season. I can't see us winning either, but that's just my opinion right now.

From a personal standpoint, I am surprised by the way Emery has divided camps at Arsenal again. With Wenger, it was understandable. But with Emery? Meh.

I was in paris 99/00 and edinburgh 00/01. I can honestly say I would rather be doing what i'm doing now (sat with a cup of tea watching tv).
