To be honest as soon as my mortgage is paid off I'm tempted to "retire" and go get a job in a coffee shop or a supermarket

Just anything that isn't stressful and isn't shifts

What timings are your shifts? Hated the job I had before I started my Master's because it was 8-16:00, 16-0:00 and 00:00 to 08:00, and then if you were lucky you'd get a day off after that night shift if it was your 4th of the month -_-

6-8 shifts in a row followed by either two off or five off

Earliest start is 0600, latest finish is 2300, with various start and finish times throughout the day

So not 24/7 then at least. I swear I still haven't fixed my sleeping schedule. Hate shifts

Well you are required to work nights but equally you can swap them with a colleague. Some people want them for the enhanced pay. I don't.

Shifts are no fun. They never get easier either

It's pure filth, shame that so many sexy girls smoke because it's massively off-putting

I’m an ex smoker.

Can’t stand the smell now. And smokers stink of it.

I gave up smoking fags 34 years ago but up until the last few years used to smoke the odd cigar with a pint....but that faded away with the smoking ban. You’ve got to be seriously sad to stand outside in the cold getting your fix. It’s s pretty effective way of killing yourself early too!

I'm seriously considering spending way too much money on a jacket I love, I already have buyer's regret and I haven't even purchased it.

I can't justify spending so much on an article of clothing, but on the other hand I never splurge on anything and it will be one of my most cherished possessions.

This is a quandary, lads.
