Yep. Awful practice.

Some people de-tooth some wild animals that are kept as ‘pets’ as well.

I'm going to start a hair transplant fund just in case.

Going bald is not an option.

Black guys are lucky tbf in that regard, they pull off the bald look better than everyone else imo.

That sort of bullshit shouldn't even be legal.

Claws are essential to all outdoor cats. Without claws they'd struggle to escape from predators as they'd be unable to climb. It'd also completely erase the possibility for them to hunt. Even for indoor cats claws are essential when grooming. Also they wouldn't even be able to scratch themselves when they're itchy.

Those who can't deal with a feline having claws are simply not fit to own cats.

These are the same type of twisted individuals who think it's cute using toxic products to dye their cat yellow to make it look like Pikachu.

A f***ing furby is what they need.

Rather pay a premium, that isn't something I'd do on the cheap.

I don't agree with it, but didn't realize you guys didn't do this.

And not all cat owners do it here btw. But it is/was very common. I don't own a cat, so don't know what the public opinion here is now days, could still be the same.

I'm a dog person though.

The problem is that as soon as it becomes acceptable it becomes "best practice" with regards "safety"

Cowards gunna coward.

Soon enough its "your cat scratched my child, youre irresponsible for having a cat with claws"

This.

It's pretty much illegal in most parts of the developed world, save for America.

That's crazy to me. Here in my ignorance I thought we nearly led the world on animal safety and protection. I feel like we almost go over the top at times.
