Yeah hopefully I never get to that stage, that's what I really don't want, the bald dome.

As far as the pills are concerned that you mentioned, firstly, your fighting genetics so even if they help again ......... you'd have to keep it up forever.

Secondly and speaking of "keeping it up" a friend of mine tried the tablets and he basically told me this, "On the back there's a warning label showing the side effects, well put it this way, all I got from those pills were the side effects and none of the benefits".

To clarify what that means ........... he can't use his pecker anymore, literally, he's peckerless and hasn't had sex for 5 years.

So errhh, no pills for me thanks.

Bald it is then, not even messing around with that. That's all I needed to hear. Thanks!

Bless my mom's side of the family. My hairline is holding strong, whereas some of my friends already have a bald dome or are balding pretty badly. Could always shave my head, but it's nice to have options. Plus, shoulder length hair is so much easier for me to take care of than short hair. All I have to do is wet it, put in anti-frizz cream, and comb it every morning, and also get the ends trimmed like once every 3-4 months. But with shorter hair (buzz, fade, combover...like undercut/pompadour not that hide your balding nonsense), you have to get it lined up or cut every 2-4 weeks or it'll look unkempt. Way too much effort for me.

I think that whole moms side of the family genetics thing about hair is a myth. I've never heard any real scientific proof of that. My moms side of the family has all their hair, and my dads doesn't, but I look like my dad, not my moms side.

The comb over is creating an optical illusion.

He wants people to focus on the eyes/forehead issue so they don't notice he's going bald.

You know how some people have college funds or retirement funds?

I'm going to start a hair transplant fund just in case.

Going bald is not an option.

This. But at least if I do start balding, I won't be fat.

You can be fat, or you can be bald. But you can't be both.
