I went about fifteen years (maybe 92 to 2007) without once having a clean shave. I had some sort of beard, whether it was tight cut or a bit longer. Never too long.

Then one day I went to the barbers and had a proper open razor shave. I’ve been shaving every day since. Maybe on a Saturday or Sunday I’ll skip it if I’m not going out.

I'm the culprit.

I wanted to delete a redundant shadow topic following the original topic's move to the ''The History Of Arsenal FC'' subforum.

For some reason, and against all logic, if you use the quick tools to delete a shadow topic, the original topic also gets deleted without warning.

The problem is, once you delete a post, it's gone forever. Unless you have a backup.

Thankfully Ellimist, GW's host, does have a backup, but we will have to repost every post individually and manually change each post to the original author -

There's no way to extract just one post from the database or table. It's intricately linked to everything else.

TL;DR

Timestamps will be different, but all original content will be restored.
