When they're young you should let them sleep in your room if you value any sort of sleep.

Puppies are babies, they don't like being on their own, just put her basket in your room until she's a few months older and save yourself the howling.

What about the mess?

Yep, they're used to being next their mother and brothers/sisters, just other warm bodies in general. So once they don't have that they get lonely, probably a little scared as well.

I let mine sleep next to me on the floor and whenever it would cry I would just reach down and pet him and he figured out someone was there and would stop.

Sims' house is getting shitted out.

More importantly, why didn't you get a German shepherd?

Leave the door ajar so she can nip out when nature calls, either that or make sure she goes before bed time.

Mate. Have you ever had a puppy? Until you train them they just do whatever on the floor.

Which door would you leave ajar anyway?

Dachshunds can be mean little f***ers.

The name literally translates as badger dog. They were bred for going down holes and dragging badgers out.

They're definitely not a lapdog, and I think they top the global list for biting people.

Buy a cat. Far better pets and won't kill your babies

Cats literally eat corpses of their owners after they die

Dogs are supreme and It's not even close

The same applies to dogs.

And humans who are facing starvation.

Cats even try to kill their owners.

Mine used to try to trip me up when I was walking down the stairs.
