Putting this out there as UFGN mentioned it in another thread: London is definitely one of my top cities for living/party balance. Not done Eastern Europe/Nordics yet but smashes US (liquor laws closing clubs early) and large Asian cities for me. Seoul last year off the hook but still a smidgen of racism here and there. Be interesting to hear some fellow members' favourite places so I can sort out a holiday.

There's some good cities round Europe. Berlin, Barca, Venice, Amsterdam, Rome. Just not as good as the Smoke

He randomly popped into my head so I Googled him.

He was technically an Arsenal player for 6 years and never made a single appearance besides one outing for the reserves in 2010.

I swear he's had the most confusing career ever; played for about 13 different clubs before he turned 21, blokes gone on loan while already on loan.

Massa leaving goes back to my post from a few weeks ago, about all the good members fading away.

It's depressing because like Massa said, the forum isn't what it once was. Due to Wenger and the state of the club, fans have become ultra-negative, which has had a pernicious effect on GW both in terms of the hostility levels and quality of posts.

Enlightening debates and intelligent discourses no longer exist on here; only petty point scoring and the same regurgitated Wenger out/the sky is falling lamentations.

I am part of the problem, as I complain about Wenger and co. frequently even though I swore off complaining after he signed his latest contract; but it's difficult to be optimistic in the face of such obvious problems within the club and you can only deal with reality - if we are shit then I'm going to say it.

I'm going to take a step back (for real this time) and refrain from complaining about Wenger any longer. It's just not productive to the forum, which has become an echo chamber.

Hopefully, in time, GW will return to the level it was when I first joined and some of those who have gone away, will return.
