Just took the dog out. It's f***ing freezing! Feels like about minus 3. It was 15° the other day.

How much do you want to spend?

When you say not wired do you mean completely wireless or will it just have a power connection?

Around £200-£300 max.

Yep completely wireless and battery powered. Surely with wired cameras if thieves got into the house they could just unplug the thing, turn it off or take it with them? Would be pretty pointless, unless I'm missing something?

Well, even with completely wire free the thieves could disable it. Virtually all of them work off your WiFi so they'd just need to switch that off.

Why do you just want one camera and indoors? For the sum you've quoted you could get a system with two cameras. Outdoor cameras are a great deterrent.

I use eufy cameras. I have four outside and two inside.

We have four outside so I was thinking of adding 1-2 inside. Which one is it that you have inside from that link?

I have the powered ones inside. But there's no reason why you can't use one of the solo cameras inside.

This one looks like you can use it on it's own. Please read further though as I haven't looked too deep.

Blink also work okay for me but I rate Eufy too (have their robot vacuum and it's class).

Blink cameras are wireless but you have a sync module that needs plugging in, so you can plug that somewhere and tuck it away.

Yeah they're like the eufy ones I use.

They need a power cable though don't they? I think Reiss said he wants completely wire-free.

The dog corners the burglar and vcc then starts stinging them with the rubber bands.

Either that or he locks them in his cellar with only a packet of rubber bands as a means of escape.

Blink stores in the cloud, assume most new ones do tbh.

That's the bad thing about long breaks I guess- you come back to a ton of work!

Yes!

I hit the ground running on 4th January and haven't stopped since.
