Seems like a good enough excuse for a drink...

Not Irish in anyway... well not for a good few generations anyway. The girlfriend is half Irish, but none of that is important.

Bottom line... St Pat's day = one great night out!!!

If it turns out as good as it has done in recent years then it might just go to the top of my list as best night of the year... that's how good St.Pat's days have been in the past for me.

New Years sucks arse!
Not much seems to hapen on St.George's day unfortunately.
Birthdays for me are just spent with the missus. No complaints, but it's more of a quiet night than a mental one.
Christmas eve is a bizarre one, it was never a big deal when I was growing up but it's become an early new years party! Good night!

You mean he doesn't encourage you?

You mean he didn't put whiskey in your bottle when you were a newborn?

I'm confused!

Est83 it's the new generation - raised during the Celtic tiger Era when parents were too busy to keep up the old traditions- like being brought to the pub by your grandfather and not being left go home until you had a feed of guinness. Shame on them
