Well I've managed to get out and get home today with a couple of future scans lined up (2 weeks n 6 weeks) to check everything is clearing as expected.

Hopefully after that can go back to a normal day-to-day at least :)

Just being home makes you feel better.

Time to recuperate.

Relax, eat, drink and get better.

Hopeful that is the last episode for you

Thanks VCC and others for the wishes.

Does seem like I will have to deal with this bastard for a while, seem to be unlucky with it as I’m only 30 and was in decent shape but seem to have gotten it pretty bad compared to most cases for my age. Obviously people in much more critical condition as well but not gone well for me at all.

Can’t think about whether the vaccine would’ve stopped this as it’ll make me mad, and I’ll never know anyway, but frustrating to get the virus 1 month before I was gonna get the vaccine for sure, especially with these lasting effects.

As long as I can get back to a relatively normal day to day life I’ll take the fact I now can’t go scuba diving lol.

Recovery is long but you'll get there, just focus on keeping your head straight and it will happen.

Look up Khamzat Chimaev. He's a young UFC fighter that got really bad COVID and actually announced his retirement a while later because he felt like he was never going to get better.

He just fought again recently and won in round 1 without taking a single punch. Completely obliterated the guy and looks better than ever before.

Lol, when vaccine passports were talked about a while back it was a conspiracy theory apparently.
Now here they are.

Been back in hospital this week (expected one night not all week ffs!). Got air pockets in my chest thanks to Covid so they’re monitoring me to make sure it starts to improve rather than worsen. I actually had a fit on Monday out of nowhere and my whole right side went numb with vision completely blurry - all lasted about 10-15 mins then gone.

Air pockets shit supposed to heal on its own over time (body meant to absorb it) but f**k me feels like this thing never ends.

Feel like the healthiest one in here tbh, walking around bored most of the day but shows anything can really be going on inside.

Best wishes mate.

Stay strong, eat food, drink water and keep a positive mind.

Just read this about Santi.
Sad news to hear.

Covid passports. Are they required to go to football matches?

I was wondering the same.

Good luck trying to process 40-50000 covid passports before the start of a match although I guess they did something similar when you needed a negative test to go to a match.

Our press is useless. I know about the party, but the introduction of covid passport and a discussion about the nation having a conversation about people who aren't vaccinated is quite serious measures, not one of them asked about it, all they wanted to talk about was the party. Surely he needed to be questioned on this new restrictions and the 'conversation'.

This would imply you need the passport or...a negative lateral flow test for football grounds.

I think the passports might for indoor spaces.

I think it applies to football grounds.

Covid pass showing your double vaccination status or a negative test.
