Some of the kneeling players have probably sent her donations.

These BLM people are no different from TV evangelists. Mugs give money to them as well.

Another African american (20 yrs old) Daunte Wright in Minnesota, shot while resisting.

Tbf, this one is a stinker, firstly the guy is blatantly resisting arrest, secondly the lady police officer thought she had her taser out but it was her gun instead .......... I mean what in the fk sort of training are you giving your officers over there?????

"Taser, taser, taser ....*gasp* I shot him"

You ...... couldn't ....... make ..... it up.

Main point here, if I'm a black man in America I'm going to co-operate, fight for your rights in court, not in the street against armed police ........ who are now even shooting people accidently ffs.

BLM out protesting and smashing up innocent peoples shops, more donations for BLM's founder, she'll be able to buy another million dollar house now.

Wow.

Throw her in jail on principle, can't have someone that stupid out in public.

I've never heard of a more asinine incident.

She couldn't tell the difference between her gun and taser...?

In a country where the police are infamous for randomly shooting people, I really don't understand why anyone, black or white, would whilst encountering police officers behave in a way that might dramatically increase their chances of being shot.

It's an incredibly stupid thing to do.

If I lived over there I'd be telling my sons to comply, comply, comply, and deal with the situation later in the right way.

That's my issue.

These things often fall apart when they go to court because the "vicitm" is always doing something the defence can tear into "The deceased jumped back into the car, fought with the officers and tried to use the vehicle as a deadly weapon, the officer had to protect herself and the public, if the deceased had complied, this would of been avoided, are we now expecting our officers to let criminals flee and run people over?".

That's how easy it is for an attorney to spin it.

Because the old adage is for a Jury is "if you have nothing to hide, why try and run?"

Its hard to preach innocent when doing things like that on video.

It's not even a matter of giving the officers an excuse. It's about just doing that bit more to protect your own life. Just comply.

I even do that over here if I get pulled over. Yes officer, no officer, three bags full officer. Can I go on my way now officer? Thanks very much.

Then when you're out of ear shot you can call him a c***.

I'm sorry but if you can't tell your left from your right in a situation where the perp did not have a weapon and you had a spare second to think about what you're doing, then you shouldn't be a police officer. That being said, he should never have resisted arrest.

I agree, if you know the cops are trigger happy then you comply with what they say and deal with it in a cooler situation.

Its beyond incredible that a trained Police Office could confuse a taser with a proper firearm. My immediate thoughts were not to believe it, but then I reckoned that no one would offer such a pitiful excuse if they weren't telling the truth.

She has to be charged with manslaughter or negligible homicide.

Yeah, but it opens up a whoile can of worms with regard to training and procedures. She might claim she wasn't trained properly. Maybe she was a rookie that had never been in this position before and panicked? Do tasers look like handguns in the USA? Its a massive error of judgement!
