Eh, why wouldn’t you go back, it’s fabulous! Obviously Magaluf isn’t the real Mallorca, if that’s where you went.
The nature was boring, too many germans, other than the capital(forgot the name) nothing exciting to do. Average island.

Palma is the capital, one of the food capitals of Europe right now... lots of great chefs going there. Huge mix of contemporary and fusion style tapas places, it's a dream! Makes me want to quit cooking French shit.

Majorca is lovely. Dejan chatting bollox

We took a train through the middle of the island. Hilly landscape, you might even say mountainous, countryside and farm land. Very pretty

Not sure where it gets a bad rep from? From where I’m standing it’s the jewel of the med and has so much going for it. The mountains are stunning, the beaches, the food, the water sports etc etc. hardly any Germans in Puerto Pollensa, my fave spot.

Yes all in Europe.

Ive visited Spain, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Estonia, Finland, Slovakia, Austria, Czech Republic and France.

Spent at least two nights in each, except for France which was a day trip

Highlights have been Barcelona, Copenhagen, Tallinn and Oslo

Was that the wooden train from Palma to Soller? You can then get a wooden tram through the orange groves to Port de Soller, where I was taken for my first foreign holiday aged 10 (48 yrs ago ffs!). To have such a magical place less than a two hour flight away is amazing. The only downside is the fact that cycling is becoming massive over there, which is great for the local economy and increases tourism in the off season, but do clog up the mountain roads.

No and it’s not really somewhere I’m keen to visit, despite hearing amazing things about it. Apparently the skiing is unique due to the super light powder it gets. Also easy to get lost (pre google maps) as the road signs were all in Japanese.

So many places to visit and so little time! ☹️

A mate of mine went there to work and ended up marrying a Japanese woman.

They now live in Australia.
