Means we will be signing a new backup keeper this summer most likely. Wenger must of known this would happen so why sell Mannone?

Maybe Mannone wanted to move on? anyway its a shame cause he's a decent back up keeper but who wants to be a back up the rest of their lives?

How can you blame him if he wants to leave when he can easily be a No-1 elsewhere. He is at an age where he needs to be playing regularly.

feel sad if he leaves but its understandable

he has huge potential imo.

Because Mannone wanted to leave. He was 3rd choice and he knew he was good enough to be a PL keeper. Mannone had an offer from a PL club and I think its very unfair to keep a 3rd choice keeper for years being 3rd choice when he has an offer like he did.

He is way too good to be wasting his career on our bench. I am sad myself but totally understand.
