Im sure they would take 10-15mill for him. I don't think his quality can be in any doubt.

I already said it my friend, but may have already agreed to go on loan to Birmingham another season?

Fair enough.

I think he should be considerd as a major target. Even more so with the new home grown rule coming in next season.

I'd much prefer a competent stop-gap to be honest; someone who's nearing the end of their career, but still good enough to allow us to blood either one of Fabianski, Mannone or Szczesny into the team gradually.

thats what i been saying

People said the same thing about Song after he was booed of at Fulham a few years ago, yet who would've thought 5 years on that he would develop into one of our most important players?

With that in mind, I wouldn't write Fabianski off just yet.

Yeah, I've thought about him. But isn't he Celtic's first choice? I doubt he'd come cheap, and I'm not particularly a fan of shelling out on a 'keeper who's good on occasions but also prone to his fair share of costly errors.

Bingo...

33 years old, great shot stopper, plenty of life left in him.

Its no wonder that Stoke have had one of the most stubborn defences in the League since they came up and given our domination of games, he would hardly have more work to do.

I am still of the opinion though that we will never see a goalkeeper while AW is still here.

But we clearly do not have zee funds to pay high wage players like Martin. If you look at zee transfer window, no keepers were signed. There was simply no one available.

this does my head in when arsenal fans say shit like this.

If arsenal bid for a stoke player he would become available in seconds when the player walks straight in to the office and says sell me or die

Fordy, I think he was kidding, bit of tongue-in-cheek at Wenger's expense.

Depends who the manager is I suppose. Hleb wasn't really for sale, it's just Wenger's not the type of manager who will prevent a player from leaving if his heart lies elsewhere. If we put in a bid for Sorenson and Tony Pulis refused to let him go, then it's safe to say he won't be going anywhere.
