Player Bio
Lukasz Fabianski joined Arsenal in May 2007. He made his Arsenal debut against Newcastle in the Carling cup the following September, keeping a clean sheet and winning 2-0.
In the 07/08 season, Lukasz, was mainly used as our goalkeeper in the Carling Cup. He had some brilliant games and even captained Arsenal in only his second game for us, against Sheffield United.
He was also used in the last 3 Premier League games of the same season.
Lukasz, this season has been promoted to second choice goalkeeper. He's still young but he already has pedigree. He won the Polish League at Legia in 2005/06 and was voted the best keeper in the ‘Ekstraklasa’ for both 2006 and 2007.
He is also an established part of the national set-up and was selected for the squad at Germany 2006 and Euro 2008.
