Any Improvement In Denilson's Game?

Any Improvement In Denilson's Game?

Postby castano » Tue Sep 21, 2010 9:33 pm

Good win tonight for us. Man of the match should be between Kos and Wilshere but i think Denilson has improved in terms of strenght and movement on the ball.He did misplaced two passes but i will spare him for that if the almighty arshavin has lost more balls than a golfer. So does anyone still think he's shite?

He's never really been shite. Just painfully average. Looked good tonight though.

Denilson has definitely upped his work rate, he has done well in the last 2 games.

Koscielny is a fantastic interceptor and Wilshere ran the show

I thought he was pretty average tonight, verging on poor if you take into account their midfield. Gave the ball away too much, muscled off it a lot. His work rate does seem to have improved a lot though.

I'm sure he'll get a run of games at some point, then we'll see.

He needs to stop shooting when he gets within 40 yards of the goal though. That was the only part of his game that annoyed me tonight. Yes I know he can score some screamers but he's like Roberto Carlos, for every scorcher he puts 50 into row Z.

He did do pretty well tonight. I've always said he lacked confidence, hopefully he gained a little bit of it.

They didn't go to Row Z, instead flew wide tamely, much more frustrating IMO.

Im still not impressed with him to be honest.
He was bullied off the ball more often than not and he never really had the legs to get past anyone.. adding to that he had a ridiculous amount of shots into row z.

I think he'll improve, but I dont he's ever really going to be better than an average player for us.
