but fletcher, carrick, park and scholes (not the scholes 10 years ago) are exactly like denilson but they won 3-1 and played better yesterday

Clichy has been shite all season. He seems to get targets by pacey wingers as he always struggles against them thesedays.
Seems to have lost it imo.

ovo he is just back from injury and will be rusty, and if gibbs was 100% wenger might not be starting him yet in the big games til he is back on song but...

he seems to have lost a chunk of his acceleration, and is much, much more standoff-ish than he was last year or the year before, where he would make the interception before the passer even made the fricking pass

i assume he will get back to his best though

as dissapointing as yesterday was, many are going overboard claiming it to be worse than our 1st year at the emirates .we may have done the double over united that season but at the same stage in the season as now we had 45 points to the 49 we have now and our premier league campaign was over at xmas.this year we have a chance to go to stamford bridge and gain a win which would put us 5 pts off the leaders with 13 games to play.the same situation as 98 when we won the league.i will not be giving up and i don,t expect the team to.seen too many twists and turns in title run ins.many of the white flag wavers would,nt have bothered taking the coach out .when we had to go to anfield and win by 2 clear goals in 89 home defeat to derby and a draw with wimbledon was equaly as crushing as yesterday and dixon ,bould and adams did,nt cover themselves in glory in them games.but we got up off the floor and did it.thats the spirit needed on and off the pitch now.

Excellent point!

Although at this time of the season, can we afford to wait for him to start playing better?

Briggsy created 'SuperDiaby'.

Chvint, we can NEVER afford to wait for any player to learn his trade but that's the Wenger way, he throws players in at the deep end and they either sink or swim. It's what you do when you don't have the money/inclination to buy ready made players.
Maybe he thinks that the other experienced players on the pitch will bail out the drowning one?
Didn't happen against Manure though because Arshavin fluffed his lines.

funny how denilson has managed to pick up 62 win bonus,s if we always lose when he plays.
over promoted? yes
dissapointed with his efforts for stoke,s 2nd in the fa cup? yes
but some of the bile aimed in his direction is grossly unfair.
however he should know how important the shirt he pulls on is and i hope wenger gave him a reminder after that game. shape up or ship out. pretty much goes for all of them really. no game or competition should be beneath us.by all means rotate the squad but the 11 on the pitch must fight for the cause

oh no no no, carrick is not like Denilson because he makes very good passes, that is why he starts for Man United, his passing is excellent.
