As much as i think he's no more than a ballerina, i think it's too early to write him off for WBA. It's only one game. He should improve the more starts he gets.

Well I did watch him and he wasn't shit.

He didn't score but he almost set up two goals. If the players he passed to had taken their chances he'd have had two assists to his name.
I thought he made a decent contribution to the game without being spectacular.
He was certainly better than the guy who replaced him imo.

The only thing I noticed was that he was playing on the right wing and he looked a bit awkward when trying to cut inside and go round players.

Delighted to see Vela on the score sheet. This should boost his confidence and hopefully will be given 'a run of games' for WBA under Hodgson.
