Vela out on loan next season?

Vela out on loan next season?

Postby AZGooner » Thu Mar 18, 2010 5:07 pm

First off, I'm a big Vela fan and I think he has a ton of potential. However, I just don't see him getting a ton of 1st team playing time anytime soon. I fear he's going to be the guy for us in the Carling Cup, but that's about it. Wouldn't it just be best for Wenger to send him out to a lower level Prem club or Championship squad instead of letting him sit for us another season?

I'm wondering if Arsene is waiting to see how he does with Mexico in the World Cup. Mexico will definitely use and depend on him, and it could be his "coming out party" so to speak. Even still, with RVP, Arshavin, Bendy, Eddie, Chamakh (most likely) and Vela, someone's gotta go.

I think Arsenal should have FAR more young players out on loan. Its a win win situation and i cant really see a flaw tbh.

Why don't we actually try playing him, put him in instead of Eduardo... can't be any worse.

I don't think your far wrong there, its a bit to late now imho. I remember watching him playing for Southampton and he was on fire. We should of lent him out straight away.

I also really like vela but I don't see who he should play? arshavin is better than him on the left and I don't think he can do the job alone in nic's position. a 4-4-2 would suit him better. A loan would also be great because I don't see him getting playing time abart from the Curling cup.

Because he spends half his time jetting round the world and the other half on the injury table

Send him on loan to the championship and don't let Mexico take him for friendlies.

Beckham can play when he jets around the world and he's twice Vela's age. lol!!

hea already been with us almost 2 seasons when i first saw him in pre season when he joined he looked promising but ive rarely seen him since maybe a loan spell would be good better than not getting in the first team at the moment

think we'd see more of vela if we killed teams off earlier than leaving it fashionably late
