Don't understand why people are saying Sneijder and Robben are selfish, would love them in an Arsenal kit as early as tomorrow. RvP has it easy playing with such great players on national level, I hope he will have good chemistry this year with the likes of Arteta and Gervinho.

Amen. And the best team for sexy football (Barca) are also masters of the dark arts like no other. Completely turns me off to them.

How long have I been saying he doesn't like being played as a target man?

It's been known he feels more comfortable in this role, just like his mentor the great Bergkamp.

WHY DIDN'T WE GET A TOP STRIKER INSTEAD OF A PLAYMAKER?!?! :BangHead:

We could, but in a perfect world he would be a sub for either v.Persie or the proper striker.

All of this crap is just because Wenger is reluctant to go back to the good old 4-4-2, in which one of the strikers plays a more free role like v.Persie wants and like Bergkamp has done. Everyone are praising the 4-3-3 system like it's a holy one, who give a f**k that Barca are using it?? we should go with what we know and good at, our success was only with the 4-4-2.

Manure are playing the 4-4-2 with Rooney and Welbeck, Shitty are using it with Aguero and Džeko, Liverpool are playing it with Suárez and Carroll.. and I don't think they are doing very bad.. :shifty:

United have been doing it since the arrival of Hernandez,I'd say they will play 442 in all their home game but revert to 451 when away.

City have the midfield and strikers to pull 442 off now

Andy Carroll is rubbish and sitting on the bench,Liverpool will stick to 451

Not so sure Manure will drop to 4-5-1 as long as Welbeck and Hernandez are in good form.

Carroll so far has play the full 90 minutes vs Sunderland, started for 71 minutes vs us and entered as a sub after 76 minutes vs Bolton.. I'd hardly say that he's just warming the bench..

If we had gone after a top striker, we would be able to play the 4-4-2 too, but Wenger is obsessed with the 4-4-3. Maybe Park will be outstanding and earn his minutes along RvP, who knows..

The only reason Carroll has started the first two games is because Luis Suarez was tired after the Copa America, now that he is back I expect to see more and more of Carroll sitting down.Kenny will of course try the 442 at home but who would he drop in midfield?
