David Villa or Diego Forlan - somebody who is experienced and has won trophies.

With the money we'll get for RVP we can't buy anything proven and decent (contract+age), we need to top up the amount in question in order to sign a quality and proven player.

Miyaichi, Cambell will be going on loan.

Yossi has left.

We should pull out of M'Vila's signing[ if not already] and go for a CAM/box to box CM.

Give Walcott a new deal.

Sign a Quality Winger to replace Arshavin.

Sign a decent back-up striker.

Sign an experienced GK.

you mean, a back up to the back up.

LOL. Podolski and Giroud are here. We need another as cover for them. Bendtner will not agree to be a bench warmer as thinks he is the best in the world while Chamakh is waste of space with Park not on Wenger's book for some reason.

The point is that none of them can lead our lin. Looking at last season's top 6, spot the difference: Aguero, Rooney, Podolski/Giroud, Defoe, Ba/Cisse and Torres. According to this, we, Spuds and Newcastle are fighting for 4th. But Newcastle are signing De Jong and Spuds will also sign another striker. If we want a good team, we need someone good enough to lead it's line.

We could sign Damiao for 25 million. If we sell RVP for less than what we got for Nasri, we might as well laugh as it's better than crying.

We need to look at things priority wise.

I am backing Podolski to come good while Giroud has had a couple of good seasons at his former club. i am not saying they belong to top echelons in terms of quality but they are here and we need to back them.

What we need now is a top quality CAM. Dempsey does not do it for me as he is more of a forward than a Midfielder. We let Kagawa change hands without a bid. If a top quality CAM is not available we can go in for a quality box to box mid like Moutinho.

it's not abouT backing them, it's about being realistic. They're great to have here, either as back up or (my prefered option) next to a top striker. But neither of them showed they are that top striker, and it's not as if they're young and have lots of space for development. Podolski is 27 and Giroud will be 26 less than two months after the season, and even though both played in inferior leagues (3rd and 5th best) they were never anywhere near as productive as you need your leading striker to be.
