Line up if robin goes

If van persie leaves, how would you line up?

I'd go 4-4-2

Szczesny
Sagna--CB--CB--LB
Winger--CM--CM--Winger
Podolski--Giroud

I'd rotate Koscielny, Vermaelen and Mertesacker at CB.

I'd rotate Gibbs, Santos and Vermaelen at LB.

I'd rotate Song, Arteta and Wilshere in CM.

I'd rotate Chamberlain, Walcott, Gervinho and Santos out wide.

Any injuries up front and I'd play five in midfield with Wilshere in the advanced role.

^^ I completely agree

I think 2 up front is our best option but Wenger will never use it. He loves playing the lone striker but it quite often leaves them isolated.

I'd be interested to see how Podolski plays as a striker, seen him as a winger quite a few times and against the Italians the other night he was almost anonymous, didn't do much with the ball.

I'd also like to see Gervinho and Walcott played as strikers at some point.

We have to sign a better replacement than Giroud!

No thanks, if RvP does leave we need better than both of them.

It's not happening. Deal with it.

4-4-1-1
Kinda obvious who goes where

Agree.

Them signings were good enough whilst you had a world class striker, now he's gone you'll need someone better than these 2.

-----------------Szczesny--------------
Sagna--Koscielny--Vermaelen--LB
-------------------Song----------------
-----R(A)M------Arteta------AOC----
-------------Giroud--Podolski--------

A good, consistent and proven LB but still a realistic/affordable signing. - One of the few players I can think of would be José Enrique, not Baines as he'll easily cost over £17 million.

Would love to see a new attacking-minded midfielder. -Not too many options on the market right now, but I would personally go for Lazio's Hernanes or Dzagoev.

Buy a decent striker as cover for Giroud/Podolski in case they get injured, preferably an experienced veteran who can still score when needed.

At the start of the season rotate Jack with Arteta to take the pressure of JW, and ease him into the league instead of making the same mistake by burning him through and causing him to be out for god knows how long.
would be a realistic signing Jos"Enrique).would love to have it this way, buy another decent striker as back-up for Poldi/Giroud in case they get injured.

With several attacking minded players in midfield who can both assist and score, Song will finally be able to stay back and focus on for 100% on his defensive duties.

We'll probably just stick to our regular 4-2-3-1/4-3-3, this is NOT the formation I expect to be employed next season.

But we wont, RvP's potential replacement arrived a while back.

Schez
Sagna Kos Verm Gibbs
Gervinho Arteta Song Ox
Podolski Theo

Ive put Gibbs in although i may prefer Santos if his defending improves. Jack would slot in to midfield as and when he is ready
