Torres and Cash 4 RVP?

Torres and Cash 4 RVP?

Postby djaxster » Sun May 20, 2012 12:08 pm

On "The Sunday Supplement" ( Sky Sports show) a few months ago, a couple of top football journo's mentioned about what team would suit Torres.
This was during his bad time at Chelski and and they said that they believed he was more suited to play at Arsenal , as he would get more service for the ball and can play the way we do.
Also in the press lately RVP wife has mentioned that they love London and don't want to leave...

So if Chelski put in this offer what do you all think?

Doubt they would. Torres it hitting form again.

Also, if Torres is worth £50m, then even with just a year left, RvP is worth more.
I'm out, pushed before I could jump.
It was fun.

Burn short, burn bright.
Always Arsenal.

Wouldn't even mind Torres at the club, but there is no way in the world I want RVP to play for the chavs.

I'd like to see RVP and Torres up front together for us!

If they want RVP then I want Cahill, Essien, Mata and Drogba as part of the deal!!!
Raya/Ramsdale
White/Tomiyasu--Saliba/Timber--Gabriel/Kiwior--???/Zinchenko

I would only start liking the idea of this if they pulled out one of those crazy offers the likes of the Ibra/Eto'o switch. A good £40m plus player deal.

Watching RvP struggle to get the ball at his feet at Chelski would hurt though.

But then again, he'd be dead to me if he left, as I said before. One good season in eight before f**king off... not cool!

... still think he'll stay though.

I think Torres was class and just seems to have lost his way a bit. I would not really want him to sign for us though. And i DO NOT want RVP to ever leave. However i am beginning to think he is on his way.
I want Carl Jenkinson back in a Arsenal shirt next season.

Wouldnt mind Torres but definatley not at the expense of Robin leaving, plus id like to think that IF RVP goes he has more respect for us than to go to another club in this league. (prob another topic but on the fence there atm)
Most of us have had a good laugh at the £50m tag he cost the chavs & the lack of form, but we all know what he is capable of with good service & when he is on top of his game.

Torres is still class, no matter what his record says. When he was with the scouse he reminded me of a white Thierry Henry, and please no one try to make a big deal out of that comment. He was a a great goal scorer and a scorer of great goals. He didn't turn crap over night. It just hasn't worked for him at chavski.

After reading all that I'm pretty sure he's looking for a move! I'm said for absolute ages that Arsenal would be perfect for Torres just because of the football we play. He needs players around him that create a Lot of chances and at Chelsea he's never really had that, at Pool he had the likes of Gerrard who he linked up so well with and they created a massive force together. I'd Never sell RVP to replace him with Torres though..

Form is temporary and class is permanent but Torres is in the complete wrong team so he can't show his class!

"The Sun"

"After reading all that I'm pretty sure he's looking for a move"

Are you the kind of guy that would ring up an 'adult' hotline and believe the big fat munter grandma doing her knitting on the other end of the phone, if she told you she was a tall, slim, leggy blonde wearing lingerie and into all kinds of kinky shit?

;)
