His response after the game didn't exactly fill me with confidence that he's staying.

Yeah, it was the bit about "Whatever happens I will always love this club."

Sounds ominous....

He's only repeating what he's said on Twitter for the past 2 weeks...

For all he's done for the club, he is IMO, reading the Agent's script in order to get him the biggest/best deal he can from the club.

And tbh if that's the case, I don't blame him.

i'd be far more pissed off if he leaves than i was about fabs or nasri he finally gets a full season, something we've all been waiting for, for years and years. does what we knew he could do and then leaves that would be hard to take

Don't think RVP is about the money at all tbh. It's the ambition of a club and the trophys he can win now...

The fact that he's been saying it for weeks now makes me feel even worse.

Bouchra is a lot less diplomatic and has pretty much been hinting he'll stay (Renewal maybe not, but stay at the club)

Seeing out his final year is not an option.

Nasri wasn't resassured by Wenger during the summer and left to City and won the league. Robin will make a similar decision if he does not feel we will buy the players needed to win trophies. Its about whether or not Wenger has learned from Nasri rather than what Bouchra thinks.

Are you a mind reader? If so could you please give me the lottery this year I could use it. You can't say not true when you have no idea what Robin thinks. She isn't bringing in millions and could easily quickly change her mind shopping in Milan or walking around in Barcelona.

It doesn't have to make sense but many have done it. I think he will stay for the record.

I think he'll stay, but the "I'm one of the best strikers of the last decade, I should be winning trophies every season" argument best the "my wife and kids love it here" argument.

Like I said, I think he'll stay. But if he wanted to go elsewhere for garunteed silverwear, I doubt his wife could stop him. A footballer's career is short enough as it is, and he hasn't got time on his side. If he really wanted to leave, she would be reasonable.... or she's a complete and utter c**t!
