This news is very encouraging and I think we really should be optimistic about this news.

The man is in our all time top 10 goalscorers, he has far surpassed Bergkamp, legendary status is not far away.

We need to keep him.

I don't even want to imagine the outrage from the fanbase if we lose RVP... :dizzy:

I imagine the outrage when we replace him with Onbongo Bongo from Congo will be far worse

13th of May 2012 Arsenal beat West Brom 3-2 to finish 3rd ahead of Newcastle. Gooney is still yet to leave the forum...

I remember a couple of years back when i invented a player called Mohongo Bongo from Congo...then it turned out we were actually after a player with the same name from Congo.

Fun times

Yeah it was a joke.

Don't want Robben though, not unless he's on a pay per play deal.

I remember a decade or so back, there was a similar situation at Man City. The gaffer asked Anelka who he would like for a partner up front. He requested Robbie Fowler.

So apparently the bit about RvP choosing somebody, wasn't in the article. It came from a separate source and what that source is, I have no idea. - So I'm assuming now we can scrap that
