No, it beats it...

I asked last night in the match thread, after he scored. How many he needs to level w/ Shearer. Was told 3.

Must be true then, cause the match thread is just like the bible...................oh wait, the bible isn't true, my bad. ;)

You'd know, you were around when it was first being written weren't you? ;)

He isn't going to do it.

He'll be lucky to equal the record against QPR.

all he needs is 2 to equal right...

he could do it he has gotten 3 against better teams and since we won't have the pressure of must win like today (to make up ground with all the draws don't see it happening) we will rip them a new one..

He won't equal it or better it, I think the record was on his mind against wolves, not his best game in an Arsenal shirt, nowhere near.

Doesn't really mean anything, it's different times now. Just because we've done it before, doesn't mean we will do it again.

RvP closing in on Shearer's record

Postby Arsenal Tone » Wed Dec 28, 2011 10:26 am

I'd still rather have three points.
Raya/Ramsdale
White/Tomiyasu--Saliba/Timber--Gabriel/Kiwior--???/Zinchenko
???/Jorginho
Odegaard/Smith Rowe----Rice/???
Saka/Jesus-------------------Martinelli/Trossard
???/Havertz

He'll equal it - Might even net a Hattrick but all promoted clubs this season have actually held their own in the Prem... Wouldn't be shocked if we got a draw out of this.
