He may have started all games for Holland in a tournament that means absolutely nothing to Arsenal FC, but he doesn't start all games for us, does he?

i should,nt have quoted you as i was just pointing to a fact that had been overlooked elsewhere that rvp had played every game for holland at the world cup.sorry if it was a tad random

I think the argument is he needs to start putting club before country. If he was at utd I reckon Fergie would have made him retire from internationals by now!

No need for apologies, i understood what you meant.

Fit and on form, RvP is not just Arsenal class, he is up there with the very best.

My point was though that he can't be Arsenal class looking on from the treatment table, i really hope he stays fit from now until the end of the season because if he really kicks on, it could be a massive boost to our title chances.
