i agree that letting tevez go was mad. Maybe they couldnt compete on wages. But when brandy face makes a decission like that he does so as a manager whose club has won an insane amount of silverwear and 800m in debt. I think it had more to do with Tevez wanting first team football - his performances at Utd warranted it and since he's become the main man at citeh, you can see why was demanding it.

No it has more to do with Tevez would have cost them at least £25m and he didn't want to pay that at the time for a player he had for free up til then.

He probably regrets it in hindsight however.
