I don't hate the fact that he gets injured, i hate the fact that when he is here, playing, we are great, when he is injured, we go to shit, then start to get back to being great, then he comes back, we are even better, then he gets injured, and we are shit again!

Lia-f***ing-bility.

If Chamakh stays fit and healthy I don't see that as a problem anymore. He can step in seamlessly.

But Chamakh it not even on the same planet as an injured RvP? Or Bendtner for that matter IMO...

Seamlessly is not the word i would use for a player who is still adapting...

Chamakh has played 3 competitive games for Arsenal CG. I'd be very wary about saying that he would just take the Perses place seamlessly. If the Perse is going to do his usual half season then I of course want Chamakh to lead the line successfully for us, but it's his first season, he hasn't gotten the shite kicked out of him at Stoke yet, or been bullied by Chelski, lets not get too far ahead of ourselves.

Chamakh slotted in fine against Blackburn and looked the part against Blackpool. He shouldn't be our main striker if we were to sell RVP but whilst he's injured, I don't see the problem with relying on Chamakh. He's clearly good and is entering his prime years

I am deadly f***ing serious.

Bendtner has proven he can score in both the CL and the Premier League and is one of the top young strikers in the Prem.

Chamakh has looked tidy but he hasn't had a proper battle yet and he keeps getting bullied by Walcott.

To be fair, Theo "mad dog" Walcott bullies everyone.

Yeah gotta say guys when I saw some of you saying RVP out I thought this place had gone f***ing mental.

But yeah f**k this, sick of thinking what if with these amazing players, rather have good players who f***ing play.

As i said in the Tottenham thread, would rather have a good player who can play for an entire season, than a great one who is constantly injured.

And you honestly have to start wondering if he will ever be able to play at the form he has in the past. He's played in what maybe a half dozen competitive matches since last Dec?

I've honestly lost track at this point... :dontknow:

But with that much time out of the game he's going to need a couple of months of regular playing time to even get back to 100% playing form. And does anybody think he'll stay healthy that long? I sure don't.

This is beyond boring now, beyond repetitive.
We should've bought Van der Fart for £8m and then it wouldn't f***ing matter if RVP left on a free.

As someone said it wasn't even a bad tackle or a hard knock or an awkward landing, they guy is just made of f***ing chocolate.
I like RVP but I wouldn't cry if he left in January, as long as we replaced him with a top class striker.

I think he needs to leave Arsenal now anyway. He needs a fresh start and to attempt to rebuild what looked like was going to be a promising career.

He should also retire from international football, or at least for now. He doesn't get much game time as it is so he should be using the games he does get to repay his faith in his club, who pay his wages.

RvP would pull a hamstring bending down to tie his laces. I love the raping Dutchman but he's not much use to us, and I say that with a heavy heart.

Very sensible idea.

I dread to think how much we've paid that man to sit on the treatment table over the last few years.
