Van Persie injured against Italy

Van Persie injured against Italy

In the 14th minute against Italy, Robin was stretchered off with a knee injury. Unsure of how serious it is as I did not see the play. Hopefully it isn't too serious as he has been in great form. I'm sure we will be hearing more about this soon.

Deja vu all over again...

Wasn't it this same time last year he hurt his knee on international duty? Or was that the year before?
This space used to be more fun...

Almost every time he plays for them, it's like a broken record.

Quick update, apparently the latest news is that RvP is being flown to a hospital for scans/photos with nothing really known as to the extent of the injury.

And this is why I completely hate pointless internationals.

BBC suggesting hes gonna be out for ages!

"2212: Now then, I cannot confirm this, repeat, cannot confirm this but according to MFBorman on Twitter, Dutch TV are reporting that Robin van Persie will be out for two to three months with torn ankle ligaments."

gutted cannot believe it if that is true

Whilst this is a massive blow, just as Clichy's injury could be the making of Gibbsy, this could be the making of Eduardo da Silva! He's just beginning to regain full fitness too.
