Keely Hodgkinson in February: "It would be silly not to try and qualify for the Olympics, but I really would like to win European juniors."

Keely Hodgkinson in August: Wins Olympic 800m silver and breaks Kelly Holmes' 26-year-old British record.

If she carries on like this, she’ll be one of our best ever athletes.

To be fair to her, it’s now been explained that her problem is similar to having the yips when putting in golf. It something you just can’t control, so not the mental health issue that people have wrongly assumed.

I did say that a few posts up. It's a mental issue but not a mental health issue that themedia seemed to have decided it is.

Deserved it though, the way he came back in the semi after a poor heat, showed his experience and his pace. Ran the exact same way in the final, just quicker.
