I think Murray is more of a threat to Federer on hardcourts than Nadal. It should be interesting to see how the Australian Open goes. I think Murray will go further than Nadal in Australia but Federer would be my favourite for that title.

If Federer plays well this 'season', i'm pretty sure he'll get his rank 1 back. Murray will get to no. 3. Not sure about no.1 or no.2. I like him best after Federer though.

well he has surpassed my preplanned expectations for him already by a year lol

hes number 2

seriously though on hard courts i would say he is number one in the world, i know fed has one US open 5 times in a row,but i think it will be andys this year, and then its really onwards after that.

legend.

Can't see Murray winning SPoY unless he wins a Slam. He'll probably blow his chances again in the US Open.

Seems like Murray has a good chance of winning the US Open given his current form. Our tennis magazine's Facebook members seem to think it's between Murray and Federer for the US Open -

Andy could make it to the final in this years US Open if both Nadal and Andy Roddick are off of their game.
Rafa is coming back from an injury and the hard court is not really his cup of tea to begin with, so I wont be surprised if we'll see another Andy/Andy semifinal @ Flushing Meadows.

i think it will be a murray federer final

i think murray is in a place now, that he has the game, the desire, the strength, the mental strength to really psuh federer right to the wire

if he does, it will be massive, and i would expect him to be world number 1 this time next year, beating federer in us open where he has won it 5 straight would be an epic achievement, i really hope they both get to the final, and hopefully murray takes the big final step up
