p.s. In my opinion clay is much easier to play on than grass - It was clay I used to play on most.. Just so happens tennis is thhe only sport I was half decent at lol apparently I used to have a mean backhand ( until my gammy hand of course now I cant play )
Oh, I never knew clay was easier to play on than grass. So why did it seem to be that most Slam champions from the 70's onwards seem to win on either clay or the grass/hard courts?
There's only a handful of men who've completed the set in the Open era.
The women's game seems to be completely different. They seem to be more all-courters.
