well i suppose so

plus something else to think about team morale wise..

no tiger who isnt a team player, he isnt even gonna show up and support them, so that might galvanise them

no monty n clarke who are big time experienced team players and characters so that could weaken us

but we should still hump them

Just watching bits on telly and it soon becomes clear that Faldo and Azinger properly don't like one another!

I was watching that this morning too. I think we're going to get smashed this year. We have 6 rookies on our squad and no Tiger Woods. :crybaby:

It's best for Tiger Woods to stay away otherwise his presence would be a major distraction for the USA team.

Why's that? I think it would be opposite knowing they're competing with him instead of against him for once. He's the best golfer in the world, why wouldn't you want him on your team?

Just got it and switched over to Sky Sports and you guys are 3-1 up at the mo. So much for no Tiger, eh...

If Europe win this it won't be cos of Faldo's captaincy, it'll be inspite of it!
Never seen such a self-absorbed twit as him.

Yes he is the best golfer in the world but he isn't able to play so he can't be a part of the team. If he was there he would be a major distraction for the USA team. Keep in mind the circus that surrounds him, Azinger wants the coverage to be about the12 players that he has, not about one very celebrated player that he doesn't have.

Oh ok, so you mean, if he was there, but not playing? I get it.

Can anyone suggest to me why Faldo would leave Westwood AND Garcia OUT OF TODAY'S FOURSOMES?? When Europe are 3 points down?

Apparently Garcias out with blisters as well.

I got my money on America so I don't give a toss who wins.
