Plus to me, it just makes no sense, if so many fighters cut weight like this, you're going to end up fighting someone the same size as you anyway that also cut a bunch of weight, which defeats the whole f***ing purpose to begin with.

EXACTLY.

That's always my argument when speaking to friends, one of them in particular a millennial who just doesn't understand the concept of honour in a fair fight.

I said to him "I don't want to see a Crusier weight fighting a Middle weight, I want to see two middleweights in ......... the middleweight division".
His answer is "Nah man I want to see the guy blow up huge and have the size advantage" ...... what!!!?

..... and as you say, all it means is because of few guys who can't skill up so they slim down, now every one is doing it, so all we get is a Middle weight match up featuring two fkin Cruiser weights and all they've done is almost wrecked their bodies to do it.

May as well of both just stayed at walk around weight right?

I'm with ya brother, makes no sense to me either. :dontknow:

Just f***ing man up and fight at your weight. If you have to lose 5 to 10 lbs, I get that, but dropping 20, 30, 40 lbs is stupid and ridiculous!!

The problem is some loser is always going to do it, you've heard that argument as we all have, "He's not done well at MW so he's going to try and cut weight down to WW" and it just dominoes from there until guys are cutting 2-3 weights down.

As I said if everyone did what the IBF do then it makes it impossible for people to cheat too much without draining themselves during the fight which would even it up for the other guy who's not pushed it to the limit.

Same day weigh ins is the only way.

Also think the UFC should implement some rule, like if you miss weight twice you are required to move up to the next weight class.

Whittaker and Romero in one of the greatest fights I've ever seen.

CM Punk destroyed again.

Wow what a knockout. The fight started off great, thought Miocic wouldve edged it the way it was going but never count out DCs power. Jeez.

Got him with a little bit of dirty boxing. Hopefully they have a rematch.

He'll always have John Jones over him though, which is a shame because I thought he was doing ok in their 2nd fight but we'll never know cause JJ was juiced.

This is why the punishment should be twice as bad for cheaters, by being supped up your literally endangering your opponent beyond the danger they should be in, by hitting harder, being stronger and fitter than normal.

Honestly this is what happens when you let things "slide" and the reason its happened is cause promoters don't want to lose out on £££.

Aldo's win was emotional.

The king is back.

TJ won again. Cody is so silly, he always decides to run in with wild punches when he thinks TJ is hurt, he did it in the 1st fight and did it last night and he paid the price.

Props to Cejudo last night, but I couldnt even score that either way. I think an immediate rematch is in the making as we speak.
