I don't know if I am alone..bit I am quite a big NFL fan, mainly the Washington Redskins. I did mamange to get to a game last year while on holiday in Florida, Tampa Bay vs Jacksonville and what an experience!! If I knew how to scan and post i would upload some pictures.

Anyway...anyone else here into this sport, who do you follow, been to any games etc?

Also been to a couple of NHL games in Toronto while there with work which is also a great sport to watch live, although damn near imposible on TV as I can't see the bloody puck. Any hockey fans?

Being an American I am naturally a fan. I'm from the Cleveland area so I'm a Browns fan. I have not made it to any games for about 2 years though.

Cool (and sorry about the crap soccer comment!!! ) Had a good season as the Browns on Madden 07!!

How do you rate them this season? Any draft picks you hoping for?

Draft wise, they don't have many picks to work with so we'll see. I think they're more or less ready to go, no big holes in the team left to fill really. Nothing that they would be able to fix in the draft anyhow. This season I will disappointed with anything less than the playoffs. Only weakness I see is in the LBs, but the did try to address that in free agency.

Oh and don't worry about the crap soccer comment, I agree.

I'm also hoping for the playoffs again. Last seaon was an odd one for the Skins with some very dubious coaching decisions (vs the Bills springs to mind) and the murder of Taylor which was a real tragedy in everyway. Not 100% about QB but think we have a strongish line up.

Would rather not be visiting the Giants as the season opener if I had a choice.

I've been a massive Raiders fan for about 20 years now.

Sadly, we're utter monkey-balls at the moment, but I remember the glory years - Jim Plunkett, Marcus Allen, Lyle Lazado, Howie Long, Tim Brown, Art Shell, Bo Jackson 8)

So are you part of the Dawg Pound then Leody? (Do they still do that at the Browns?)

Funniest fans have to be Packers fans though - you gotta love the Cheese Heads :wacky: :sundae: :scream:

I follow football casually but don't enjoy it one bit. It stops too much, and you never know how long it's going to run (Baseball does the same thing to me :scream: - that's a yawn)

I'm a Buffalo Bills fan :embarassed: :hiding: IT'S NOT MY FAULT! I grew up near Buffalo! It's all good, though, because it helps me win "who's in worse shape" or "who's more suicidal" arguements!

Sadly, the Dawg Pound is still there, but nothing like it used to be. They haven't thrown bones at the other team in ages. Last year Chad Johnson jumped into the Dawg Pound after a TD and came out alive. If somebody would have tried that in the '80s or early '90s they would have been missing a finger when the got out at the very least. Hasn't been the same since the old Browns moved. Art Modell is going to hell for that, I'm sure of it.

You guys can't be any worse off than The Raiders :crybaby:

Eh, like I said I only casually follow it, so I'm not the one to judge. Leody! Who's worse off?
All I know is that whenever I tell someone who is eating that I'm a Bills fan, they almost spit their foot across the room. Happened last week in Krakow, actually.

You bring up a great point about the stops and starts tho Rachel. When I started getting into soccer it more or less ruined every other sport for me. I never had a problem before, but now I am so used the the game not stopping that I get frustrated watching other sports.
