Yep, cheering on the 49ers too. As a member of Steeler Nation, there is no way in hell i'm cheering for the rat birds.

I'll be watching, but don't want either team to win, as I dislike them both.

couldn't agree more, one of my good buddies is a Steelers fan and he said if the Niners win he's going to celebrate it as if the Steelers had won it lol

Because I'm a Ram's fan. We've been their whipping boys for a long time before we won it in 99', and obviously their our division rival.

Ahhh okay, makes sense now. You guys definitely got the best of us this season though. Hopefully one day you guys can get another, Warner-Holt-Faulk-Bruce kind of thing and tear sh*t up in the NFC West again.

Isn't American football a really boring version of Rugby with forward passes?

This is the main reason I don't really watch it anymore. Any excitement that's building during the game is lost every time they go to a commercial, which is every other play it feels like.

It is frustrating. I still watch it, but I would rather watch football (soccer), or hockey if I had to choose. More exciting sports and less commercial breaks.

you guys look at our football the same way most Americans look at footie. I guess both sports get lost in translation on both sides of the Atlantic.

personally I think American football is much more exciting than footie, but I also played American football for ten years.
