Of course.

But not every other week in front of millions of people.

Emotional times.

Best times I've had watching tennis have been cos of Andy. I liked Tim but he was never good enough to win a slam. Muzza was and to win 3 and be world number 1 in this era shows how good he was. He made the big 3 a big 4.

The country wept with him when he lost the Wimbledon final in 2012 but the same people went crazy when he won Olympic gold just a month later. And the US open.

But of course Wimbledon was the one we all wanted and we got it eventually eventually. Not a dry eye in the country in 2013 when he won it.

The Davis cup triumph was awesome as well. I'm not emotionally invested in any other player so for me tennis has died a little bit. I was never a djokovic fan. Federer mantra completely fallen after his disgraceful shenanigans last couple of years. Only Nadal can save tennis now

Thank you Andy. Forever a Brit when you won and always a Scot when you lost

There is no big 4.

Murray was always there with them and gave them all they could handle but the fact is he simply didn't win enough to be put in the same bracket as them.

At the end of the day Murray and Wawrinka have won the same number of Slams.

The best British sports person in my lifetime, I respect how honest he is to, other players in his situation would have made miraculous recoveries.

Lol

I like the guy but there is no way he's a greater sportsman than Lennox Lewis - who might be top 3 HW of all time.

He was number one in the world. Reached a shit load of GS finals. There was a top 4. Now there isn't.

Wawrinka was never as good as Andy

Not sure about that. He's up there. Certainly better than any footballer or boxer.

Mo Farah takes it though

A Somalian being the best British sports person, I guess that sums up how shit Britain is at sports.

Murray 2 sets down brings it back to 2-2

He can hardly walk

Truly the GOAT

Never happening but if he won Wimbledon and then retired where would it rank among the greatest sporting moments in history?
