Love Rafa........but watching him serve is like watch a golf pro marking a 1ft putt and lining it up, before knocking it in.

He has OCD

That's why he does all that before each serve

Playing someone called zverev next. Heard of him. Probably decent but a threat?

Zverev is a wifebeater who also enjoys hitting umpires, and somehow hasn't been banned. He does have his good days on the court, yes his serve in particular is a menace when it's on.

Zverev is a serial choker who's never beaten a top 10 player in a grand slam before his last match.

He definitely has the skillset to beat Rafa at this stage, it's all about the mental stuff with him and the most likely outcome is he crumbles under the pressure... But if he doesn't, and if he wins the final he will become No. 1 in the world.

This Zverev, playing at this level, Rafa has no answer for and will lose to in straight sets.

The problem is, can he maintain it?

Edit: And there's good old Zverev. Double faults on 40-40 and then misses an easy winner.

Two more double faults in his next serving game and then misses a volley at the net to give Rafa a set point. What a frustrating player.

Rafa wins the set he had no business winning based on how Zverev was playing for most of it.

Choke artist vs mental god.

2nd set and Zverev is serving for the set but he serves 3 double faults. Unbelievable.

Edit: Zverev injured and screaming in pain, I don't think he's coming back for Wimbledon, let alone for this match.

Heartbreaking for Zverev and Rafa gets a lucky break.

They were both getting broken left and right in that set.

But holy shit, that looked like an awful ankle roll. Sad way to end the match. I despise Zverev as a person, but this is just sad :/

Danger of humid clay, you almost can't glide on it.

Urrgh. Nasty ankle roll.

Reminded me of when Mary Pierce blew her ACL on court and lay there screaming until help arrived.

Nadal and Rudd have never played so it's at least interesting from that aspect.

14 should be coming home though.
