"The Sunday Times has no independent evidence Dr. Bonar has treated the sportspeople he named".

This is going nowhere; it will be impossible to prove. Any athlete, player or club implicated will simply say the allegations are totally false/threaten legal action and nothing will come of it.

Hopefully this is fake.

However, if it's not, he's named Chelsea and us like this
The doctor claimed he had worked with "a few footballers" who have been or are currently members of the playing staff of the Premier League football clubs Arsenal, Birmingham City, Chelsea and Leicester City.

If, for example, we bought someone from Chelsea...... he would be a current member of our playing staff

That said, this is probably fake

Sunday Times Allegations

Postby Nonlondoner » Sun Apr 03, 2016 11:30 am

If there's any truth in the allegations made in today's Sunday Times that Arsenal players have used performance-enhancing drugs then it's a very serious situation.

And begs the question....How bad would we have been without them?

If we have records of our random testing this is closed for us. Don't think any of the others said as much.

More like non-performance enhancing drugs. Sorry but not one of them looks like they've been on the juice.

Doesn't sound credible.

I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out footballers have been doping but this won't be the story that lifts the lid.

I think it will. Not with him as the key, since it seems he has no evidence but I think this will be the story that prompts more investigation into it. Prior to Wenger's comments in Nov they acted as if nothing like this could happen, questioned him when he said that and now this rubbish comes about.

Pretty sure more will follow now.

Ramsey in 13/14 is the obvious answer.

I have no doubt that doping is taking place in all major sports. There's simply too much money involved these days and some people can be paid to turn a blind eye. Sponsors and TV networks definitely don't want to know.

Screw this 'public inquiry' BS, we all know that any final report will be heavily sanitized before being made public. We need an Edward Snowden type whistleblwoer to grab the raw data if it's available, leak it and let the public figure out how deep this rabbit hole goes.
