Doesn't make sense tbh.

Yes it was a shit game, but the fact is they were tied with the Pats heading into the 4th.

They were more competitive than most teams ever are with NE, I've never seen the Pats and Brady so nullified on offense.

Two weeks to prepare. Two weeks. Two weeks.

LA drives:
Punt (three-and-out)
Punt
Punt (three-and-out)
Punt
Punt (three-and-out)
Punt (three-and-out)
Punt
Punt (three-and-out)
FG
Punt
INT
Missed FG

Only three first downs on their first eight drives. 260 yards of offense. 3 points. Remember, what's supposed to be an offensive genius had two weeks to prepare. But hey, at least Hekker set a SB record for longest punt :dontknow:

If that's them deserving to be there (without even getting into the NFCC no call that would've all but sent them home), then the NFL is going to lose its place as the top American league faster than I thought.

As for the bolded part, the Patriots got dad d*cked just this season by the Lions and Titans. I also remember us smacking them on MNF back in 2009 so badly that Belichick pulled Brady from the game. They're the greatest dynasty in professional sports history, but they've looked mortal plenty of times.

I'm talking about in the Superbowl.

Of course they are going to have lost games badly over the years, but in the postseason, when it matters most, I doubt there have been many teams that have kept Brady off the board for almost the entire game.

God that Lions game was f***ing awful, getting out foxed by that fat c*** Patricia after he'd cost us the title 7 months earlier.

Would say he's a bastard but part of the learning curve on the way to stardom ;)

It doesn't deserve it's own thread because I know it won't last long, but they're bringing the XFL back. St. Louis has a team called the BattleHawks. FFS!! American football is a dying sport. Kids aren't playing it as much as they used to, the head injuries are really starting to scare some parents, I wouldn't mind if the game went away altogether. I much rather have a Rugby team instead here in St. Louis, and have this country start to form a respectable Rugby League.

Good on Luck. Get out while you can. He’s fairly intelligent, do something a bit safer.

Get out while you can?

Most good QBs play well into their 30s without issue.

QBs are well protected by their O lines and referees.

He’s had a ton of injuries from a horrible offensive line for years. He knows his body better than any of us and he’s saying he needs to quit for his own good.
