Wimbledon 2013

Andy Murray's best chance of winning this year.

Nadal out.
Federer just knocked out.
Tsonga withdrew through injury.

Only real opposition is Djokovic.

Truth is that if he doesn't beat someone special, the win won't be considered something special by the Great British Public. We are that cynical.

Crazy day!

Hewitt knocked out by Dustin Brown (who the f**k is Dustin Brown!?!), ranked 100 places below him.

Sharapova knocked out by some world number 131 Michelle Larcher (who??????).

A shit load of injuries as well.

After the U.S open, the Olympic gold, and all those f**king tears, people are finally taking to him. He definitely has more fans this time round, and that might go someway to covering up (if you want to call it that) the fact that two favourites are out.

He's on track to play Djokovic in the semis, and if he gets through that the likes of Ferrer and Del Porto could still cause an upset... especially if he's complacent!

Then there's that whole 'history is writen by the victors' thing. No-one cares that Michael Carrick is total crap and that this is the wrost ManUre team (especially the midfield) that we've seen in years, they just know that they bitch-slapped the whole league and won their 20th title.

Federer just makes too many errors these days. He's still a great great player but doesn't look as focused as he used to be

Dustin Brown fired some awesome winners. There are highlights on the BBC website but on one of them he is flying through the air like superman as he hits it.

Crazy results so far. Murray could have played Cilic/ Tsonga in the quarters and Nadal/ Federer in the semis, but they're all gone. Madness.

Can't be easy after all the injuries, and he won't ever be the same. But there were shades of the old Hewitt, he was just out-played by a much better player... who I've never heard of!

Agreed. It looked effortless at times. I hope he gets further, the commentators mentioned that he's previously had to make his own way to tournaments in his own camper van  It's not exactly below the poverty line, but the guy's clearly got some un-tapped talent that's taken a while to surface, and I love unorthodox players. Hope he does well.

I really hope we have an underdog win it. Sick of the same 3 or so every year.

Djokovic is untouchable at the moment. If Murray reaches the final he's going to have to be at his very best to beat Novak.

If you're not watching Wimbledon right now, do yourself a favour and switch over to BBC1. Djokovic vs. Del Potro has just gone to a fifth set.
