Of course, its all about the CC

I'm of the same opinion as you. I think the top place side need to be given more credit (don't they just get a crummy league leaders shield atm)

Its just cruel you can finish top have a beast of a season then lose all the bragging rights to a team who just scraped the play off's.

I was in the pub with a mate last night on about the whole Rugby League system. He suggested doing something like American Football with different conferences. It would help add a few teams to the top division while scrapping the pointless league leaders shield.

He was explaining it all for ages and I really like the idea. It's not as easy to explain typing it out.

They do need to sort the composition f the league out. RL seems like the only sport to be standing still. I know we cant exactly compare it to football and the FA but i feel the chiefs of RL should of achieved more for the sport by now.

I agree more can be done but I also agree with the system in place. I don't think things like the stadium and having a team close by should penalise you on a place in Super League though. I think it should be fine as long as you show you can afford to run a Super League club.

RL is the original working class game. Cardiff FC (or any good championship club) are probably richer than the whole of the RL combined.

Its the lack of investment which has held RL down. I live in Salford and the red struggled to build a new shitty little shed. :dontknow:

Some cracking games yesterday. We absolutely owed Wake too. Brilliant game! Hull fans must be really pissed though.

Castleford's winger Justin Carney has been handed a third suspension of the season.

He has been banned again by the Rugby Football League's disciplinary committee, who found him guilty of a dangerous throw on London Broncos forward Shane Rodney during Castleford's 30-30 draw at the Twickenham Stoop on Saturday.
