Legend?

For anyone who hasn't seen it, "The Armstrong Lie" film about Lance, I knew nothing about cycling prior to watching it, I found it extremely interesting.

I kind of felt sorry for him tbh.

Apparently he's good friends with Lionel Messi...

Make of that what you will.

Unfortunately his name is & probably will always be legendary.. Listening earlier, only briefly, he appears to STILL not get it.. Look at what I did for bike sales, look at the millions I made MY foundation due to my success. A small degree of contrition wouldn't go amiss.. The admiration I used to have for this guy!!! I feel a more appropriate overview would perhaps be along the lines of ' for all my deceit & cheating & bullying & theft & vindictiveness in not only my pursuit of glory but also my poisonous destruction of livelihoods of competitors, teammates, colleagues, friends & their family members for daring to go against me, not follow my orders or cause any obstruction/irritation whatsoever as I lie & con my way to the top... For all the hurt & ruin I have caused, through it all there has been one tremendous positive which is the cancer foundations' impact on so many families & I thank my lucky stars lives are actually being improved & saved every day.. Yet even that cannot repair the many lives ruined by selfish choices I have made... An even as a yank, the irony isn't lost on me... ' being such a swell guy & a whopping legend/hero to boot, am sure, when he reads this, we'll see him back on Oprah quoting this word for word.
CHEATING GIT..
Can't say I'd lose any sleep if next time he goes under the knife it's to remove his penis!!

Right! Similar to the steroid era in baseball here in the states. Almost hard to call it cheating when so many others were doing it too.

Although I heard him try forcing others to do drugs and got a couple kicked off his team for not doing them.

The guy has ruined cycling. When people talk about it now, his name gets talked about cause if the drugs.

I think the only cycling ever to be talked about in the history of GW is about Lance Armstrong being a cheat. Says it all.

The Tour de France is incredible to watch. It's also insanely hard - I honestly don't think any sporting event is harder or more draining.

Never really got in to it. Found it boring so never watched it again.

I'll support our olympic lads every 4 years and I'll watch cycling then but I also watch other sports that I'd never watch if it was for the Olympics.

Once you get to know the strategy and tactics it can be fascinating to watch. During the Tour I barely ever watch the entire day's coverage but the 40-minute highlight show is good. When the big hitters start attacking each others in the mountains it's great to see.
