Controversy at the 145th Kentucky Derby.

Maximum Security becomes to first horse in the race's history to be the first to cross the finish line but not win the race. Stepped out of his lane on the final turn and disrupted other horses, thereby disqualifying him.

Country House, one of the biggest underdog champs in the race's history at 65-1, claims victory.

It didn’t look like he did enough to be disqualified in my opinion.

Terrible conditions to consider too. Hardly ideal for keeping the horse on a straight line.

Jockey said the horse got spooked by the roar of the crowd right at the turn, so that's why it veered right. Tough decision to make all around, glad I didn't have to make it.

Never heard of him but he's finished
